Dilip will be sharing the deeply moving stories of two Battle of Britain couples: 19 Squadron’s Squadron Leader Brian Lane DFC and his racing-driving wife Eileen, and Squadron Leader Jack Lawson DFC and sweetheart, the WAAF Assistant Section Officer Margaret ‘Peggy’ Balfour – both tragic tales indeed of ‘Spitfires, Loves & Lives Lost’. Relatives of the late Squadron Leader Lawson and Miss Margaret Balfour will be in the audience.
